Service Charges
All business customers are governed by the same conditions of application regardless of the rate they pay.
The most common charges for electricity service are given below.
Administrative charges

If connecting your electrical installation entails extending or modifying the distribution system:
- You may have to pay for part or all of the work specified in the Conditions for Electrical Service at the costs given in Chapter 12 of the Distribution Tariff.
- Some refunds may apply.
Service charges may change subject to approval by the Régie de l'énergie.
A new customer is any person or legal entity that has not had a service contract in Québec in the five years prior to a service application.
