Small hydroelectric generating stations of 50 MW or less

Description

Hydro-Quebec Distribution establishes a power purchase program to support the development of small hydroelectric generating projects for the benefit of Québec's regions.

The program involves the acquisition of a block of energy generated in Québec from new Aboriginal or local community hydroelectric projects, for a total installed capacity of 150 MW.

The term of the contract is fixed at 20 years.

Submitting questions

Bidders may submit questions concerning the call for tenders. The deadline for doing so is January 19, 2010 (revised). The answers will be available to all.

The deadline for submitting bids is 4 p.m. (Montréal time), February 2, 2010 (revised).
