We are preparing the next generation by supporting university research in our areas of interest
By supporting universities through research chairs and other research partnerships, Hydro-Québec is promoting knowledge development in fields related to its activities and is preparing a new generation of experts to meet its future needs. These collaborations will also generate new industrial partnerships, which will help maximize Hydro-Québec’s contribution to research activities.
Most of Hydro-Québec’s research collaborations are supported financially by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). The major funding that NSERC provides to industry contributions enhances university research capabilities in several research projects and areas of interest for our organization.
