Financial Assistance

Hydro-Québec will grant financial assistance equivalent to the lesser of the following amounts:

50% of the costs of the energy analysis  $25,000 per analysis

You may receive financial assistance for several energy analyses, up to a maximum of $50,000 per service contract.

The energy analysis must be completed within 12 months of the date on which the agreement with Hydro-Québec is signed.

The aim of the financial assistance offered by Hydro-Québec is to reduce the project payback period to three years. This assistance is limited to the least of the following amounts:

Amount needed to reduce the payback period to three years (based on electricity savings)  75% of eligible project costs  15¢ per kilowatthour saved in the first full year of operation  $350,000 per project

You must assume at least 25% of the total project costs, and the project must be completed within 18 months.

The total amount to which you are entitled is stated in the agreement. However, if the project's objectives are not met or if costs go over budget, the amount may be reduced in accordance with the Program criteria.
