Aurizon Mines Ltd. is currently exploring and conducting feasibility studies on the gold-bearing Joanna Property.

Hydro-Québec has been mandated to connect the future mine to the power transmission system. To do so, Hydro-Québec will build a 1.5 km-long 120-kV line. It will supply approximately 22 MW at the beginning of site operation, which may increase to 25 MW in the future.

Hydro-Québec is conducting the draft-design studies for the construction of the projected supply line.
