Comparing Two Bills

Is your current bill higher than the previous one or the one for the same period last year? It may simply be because a few more days were included in the billing period.

The tool below will help you determine your average daily consumption for comparison purposes.

Referring to your current bill:

  • Enter the total consumption in Box "A".
  • Enter the number of days included in the billing period in Box "B"

Your consumption for the past year is shown under the "Previous consumption" heading on your bill. Select the period you want to compare with, then

  • Enter the total consumption in Box "C".
  • Enter the number of days included in the billing period in Box "D".

If your average daily consumption has increased or decreased, it's because certain factors have changed. For example, perhaps the temperature has been a lot warmer or cooler.
