Financial Assistance
If you decide on a geothermal system, you can get a grant from Hydro-Québec. For exisiting detached houses, additional financial assistance is available through the Rénoclimat program offered by Québec's Agence de l'efficacité énergétique.

- 1. The geothermal system must have been installed on or after May 1, 2007, and must be certified by the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC).
- 2. If you are a Rate DT customer, the geothermal system must have been installed on or after November 3, 2009.
- 3. Some conditions apply. Rénoclimat is a program offered by Québec’s Agence de l’efficacité énergétique. Fees apply for home energy audits under the Rénoclimat program.
