Main charging sites will be at the home. Together, we are going discover a whole new way of filling up. Every morning, our cars will be fully charged with clean energy. In fact, we will soon be able to meet most of our charging needs at home, at work or in a parking lot used on the job. This should allow us to meet over 80% of our charging needs.

According to a September 2009 Hydro-Québec survey, 94% of Québec households owning or intending to acquire a vehicle already have parking spaces at home, and 89% of those households already have access to a standard outlet (120 volt, Level-1 charge) at those parking spaces.

Québec is therefore already well positioned to meet residential charging demand.
