Telecontrol and Training Centres

A must-see destination!

Visit Hydro-Québec's only telecontrol centre open to the public, in Rouyn-Noranda, and discover how hydroelectricity is generated.

You'll learn how Hydro-Québec can control the production of electricity at generating stations thousands of kilometres away and send that power to load centres across the province.

You'll also learn some amazing facts about local wildlife and the legacy of more than a thousand years of human presence in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region.

Surprising and rewarding!
