Let yourself get caught up in the excitement of a construction site in full swing! Adults and children alike will be fascinated by the machinery, the orchestrated rhythm of the work, the open-cut and underground rock excavation, as well as the unobstructed views.
Visit the Romaine-2 jobsite to learn about the steps involved in building a hydroelectric project, witness workers in action, find out about the various environmental programs and see what a workcamp housing over a thousand peoples looks like.

Visitors aged 18 years and over must present identification (health insurance card, driver's licence or passport) before they can tour the facility.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow sufficient time for registration.
For safety reasons, this visit is not recommended for children under two years of age.
We suggest wearing flat and closed shoes.

After leaving Havre-Saint-Pierre, visitors must register at the checkpoint at km 1 of the Route de la Romaine. They must then report to the information centre at des Murailles workcamp at km 36 of the Route de la Romaine.
It takes about 60 minutes to drive from Havre-Saint-Pierre to des Murailles workcamp.
There are no restaurants, convenience stores or service stations open to the public at the workcamp (such services are available at Havre-Saint-Pierre, an hour away).
