Claim form for master electricians

Customers who contact Hydro‑Québec’s power outage and emergency services may be redirected to a master electrician. Based on the terms of the agreement between Hydro‑Québec and the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec (CMEQ), when certain conditions are met, the master electrician may bill Hydro‑Québec directly.

The terms are summarized as follows:

The agreement covers only 120/240 V, 200 A or less electrical installations that supply residential overhead service loops.
The agreement covers these types of issues:
- Voltage fluctuation in customer installations
- No 240-V voltage in customer installations
- Customers must provide the master electrician with the customer contact number they were given by Hydro-Québec.
