Refurbishment of the Trenche facility

Economic spinoffs

The refurbishment of the Trenche facility will generate significant economic activity and we want the region to benefit as much as possible, in accordance with our internal rules. In this regard, we will have requirements in the following fields while carrying out the project.

Graph showing the direct workforce forecast by year from 2025 to 2035. The graph highlights the annual changes in the number of resources, with notable increases from 2028 to 2033, reaching nearly 150-200 resources per year. There is a decrease starting in 2034.

Food and lodging

Given that no accommodation will be available on the jobsite, the influx of workers will be significant in La Tuque. We are working with organizations in the area to identify available short‑term accommodation options for the workers and to ensure sufficient availability to meet their needs.

We provide workers with the following directory of short‑term accommodation in the region, which was prepared by Tourisme La Tuque.
