Ongoing conversations

Hydro-Québec has established a collaborative approach tailored to each city and borough concerned in order to promote discussions about projects and find ways to optimize them for everyone.

Depending on the city or borough, the approach may take the form of public information sessions, working groups, working committees or other mechanisms to be determined with each area.

City of Montréal

Beginning in 2018:

  • Working sessions with the Hydro-Québec and city of Montréal technical committee
  • Hydro-Québec and municipal partners decision-making committee

Saint‑Laurent borough

Beginning in 2018:

  • Discussions with borough managers and elected officials
  • Public information sessions in 2019 and 2023
  • Some 12 meetings of the technical discussion panel

Ville de Mont-Royal

Beginning in 2018:
