Choose the option that best meets your energy efficiency goals. Whether you’re building a house, multiplex or residential building with 19 units or fewer, you could receive financial assistance while helping to build a greener Québec. On March 31, 2025, the bonus financing for smart thermostats and devices will be reduced and a maximum amount per address and per unit will be applied.
To see the options that apply to your project, select one of the following three types of dwellings.

There are several ways to increase the amount of financial assistance you receive. Earn up to an additional 15% when you install one of these two devices to make your new builds even more energy efficient.

15% by installing smart devices
To be eligible, you must have installed a smart electric vehicle charging station and one of the following smart heating devices:
- Smart thermostats for baseboard heaters in all habitable rooms in the eligible home
- A smart thermostat for central heating
- One or more smart thermostats for in-floor heating
10% by installing smart thermostats
Install smart thermostats in every room of the home you’re building and receive additional financial assistance of 10%.

Frequently asked questions
Unfortunately, people who build their own homes aren't eligible for the LogisVert Efficient Homes Program. Only builders holding appropriate licences issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) and doing business with companies that also hold appropriate RBQ licences can take advantage of the financial assistance provided by the Program.
Residential buildings with 20 units or more are covered by Hydro‑Québec's Efficient Solutions Program, which is adapted to the needs of various types of businesses. The Program offers financial assistance to conduct an energy analysis of one or more buildings and implement energy efficiency measures to reduce a building's electricity bill and improve the competitiveness of participating businesses.
