- invoice number
- invoice date
- installation date
- address at which the eligible heat pump was installed
- customer name
- supplier or contractor name
- RBQ licence of the contractor that installed the heat pump
- installation date
- description of the product and eligible work
- serial number of the heat pump
- AHRI No.
- cost of the work
Contracts and tenders will not be considered in the financial assistance application review process.
Absolutely. The financial assistance granted under the Efficient Heat Pump Program is also available to owners of newly built homes.
No. You cannot receive financial assistance from more than one program administered by Hydro-Québec or the Québec government for the same heat pump. Make sure to check the conditions and commitments of any financial assistance program offered by any other agency for the purchase and installation of a heat pump for which you may be eligible. Once the financial assistance has been paid to the participant by Hydro-Québec, it cannot be returned.
However, you may apply to other programs administered by Hydro-Québec or the Québec government for other eligible home measures.
You may be eligible to receive financial assistance for different home measures.
Hydro‑Québec grants financial assistance for the installation of eligible heat pumps, and there are no restrictions regarding the type of energy or equipment used for heating prior to the work.
In addition, the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles du Québec offers financial assistance to replace a central heating system fueled by oil or propane with one powered by a renewable energy as part of its Chauffez vert
program.
The Chauffez vert program also offers financial assistance for the conversion to dual energy (electricity and natural gas) of heating systems fueled solely by natural gas. See our website for more information.
Yes. You may install a new eligible heat pump to replace a fuel-fired system. The heat pump must be powered by electricity or a combination of renewable energies.
If you meet all the criteria, you may apply for financial assistance under the Efficient Heat Pump Program to install an eligible heat pump. You may also be eligible for financial assistance under the Chauffez vert
program of the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles du Québec to replace a central heating system fueled by oil or propane with one powered by a renewable energy.

Yes. When you apply for financial assistance, you consent to a heat pump installation inspection, which may occur at any time as of the date at which your application for financial assistance is received and in the twelve months following the payment of the financial assistance.
Hydro-Québec must issue a Relevé 27 — Paiements du gouvernement to all individuals who meet the criteria listed below and to whom financial assistance was granted:
- The owner is a company (all types of dwellings).
- An individual provides a mailing address that is different from the address of the home.
- The home is:
- a duplex.
- a triplex.
- a quadruplex.
- an apartment building.
In such cases, an NEQ, QST number or SIN is required to receive the financial assistance.
When their eligibility is confirmed, individuals who applied for financial assistance without providing an NEQ or QST number will receive an email with instructions on how to submit their SIN.
Please note that Hydro-Québec doesn’t retain your SIN after paying the financial assistance. You must thus submit it for each new application submitted and accepted.

If you are eligible, please contact the Program’s customer support at 1 833 396‑1888 as soon as possible to cancel the application you submitted to the Efficient Heat Pump Program. Once the LogisVert Efficient Homes Program is launched, you can submit a new request to this Program.
Yes, if your request for financial assistance was submitted on or after January 1, 2023. First, you must check the eligibility criteria for the LogisVert Efficient Homes Program in the participant’s guides.
