Demand Response

Hydro Québec continues to support demand response measures.

In decision D-2021-100 [in French only] of July 30, 2021, the Régie de l’énergie of Québec authorized the conditions of application of Hydro‑Québec’s Demand Response (DR) Option, designed for business customers.

Whether or not you registered for this rate option last winter, you must sign up by September 15, 2021, if you’d like to benefit from it in winter 2021–2022 and subsequent winters.
